It's been 11 months and a half months since I've posted on here? How pathetic am I? [info]aircrunch21 nudged me a couple of months ago, so I figure I'm actually making good time, right? How's everything going Nikki?

I've been away working on that procrastination habit of mine. No, I just never had anything to say. Still don't, but I was bored, thought I'd check in. Maybe send a little shout out to Mother Nature for just skipping autumn all together this year. Nothing like going from 85 degrees to 36 in under a day.

Oh, and look ...Little Baby G turned into Little Boy G... )

I went and saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this morning and was quite surprised. I heard it sucked, or that is was pointless... now, while I still prefer the original they did a good job with this one too. I loved Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka. Every time he said 'little girl' it reminded me of my niece and how she sounds. But yeah, one complaint -- if the kid can't sit in a seat by it's self, they shouldn't be in the theater. Thank you.

1. Are you a dog or cat person? Definitely a dog person.
2. How many pets do you have? Five dogs. Kaluha, Maverick, Gus, Wilco, and Kip.
3. What’s the best thing about your pets? They're mine. And always there... always. Huh.
4. What’s the weirdest thing your pet has done? Well, one of them once became intimately attached to a teddy bear.
5. Plans for any more pets? It's always a possibility with me.

Website Wants to "Feed Lindsay"
An online petition titled "Please Lindsay, Eat!" has gathered over 12,500 signatures from concerned individuals, who are united in their preference for the actress' once curvy figure from the days of Mean Girls as compared to her drastically slimmer bod of today.

So I spent my fourth of July at the Rangers game staring at Laynce Nix's ass... if you'd like a photographic summary click here.

You Are 54% American
Most times you are proud to be an American.
Though sometimes the good ole US of A makes you cringe
Still, you know there's no place better suited to be your home.
You love your freedom and no one's going to take it away from you!

Happy 4th of July, people. Be safe.

I just, shamelessly or shamefully -- I haven't decided which, bought the Bo Bice single from iTunes. *winces*

Is it wrong of me to want the College World Series to go on forever, just so I can watch cute guys run their butts off around a baseball field? Really?

Is it actually too physically demanding for Nash to sit upright? Watching him just crash out on the sidelines, kills me. And I'm terribly afraid that the more I watch Ginobili play... the more he grows on me.

"Have you heard that one before?"

I just spent the first afternoon of my vacation from work helping my mom and sister with their garage sale. Big mistake. Now, I'm not against garage sales. Some people might love them, and go and find something they've always wanted for two bucks. Unfortunately I'm not that lucky. So since attending garage sales isn't my thing, having one sucked. Pictures from the day can be found here.

On a second note, Jay got tickets to both San Antonio games. He refuses to tell me how much he paid for them which is probably good for his health. We're torn between wanting the Spurs to just win both, and hoping Phoenix pulls out one game so Nash's best year of his career doesn't end in a sweep. Because we are kind-hearted like that.

So that was a severely painful series. I would have rather lost to Houston, I think. But, I suppose I can content myself with thoughts of San Antonio kicking the Suns asses. Maybe I'll even drive down and take in a game or two.

And while I'm on the bitter bus, I'll try to convince myself that Nash's season was a fluke and he'll crash and burn next year. And Phoenix will have to live with his $65 million dollar contract... at least I think it's worth that, hell it could be more.
